Northgard ox clan2/28/2024 ![]() Recently I also come to love the clan of the Rat, which can have very high population and OP Shamans (if you got enough upgraded Shaman houses), they can have loads of HP and also heal themselves even on neutral territory.Īnd the clan of the kraken is so so, kinda fun.īoth the clan of the Bear and Kraken seems powerful on paper )for Domination), but for some reason for me they didn't perform that well.īut many of the other clans don't look like they suited of Domination victory (excluding the clan of the Wolve and the Dragon, which I didn't play much yet) but it least they don't have debuff at Winter. this clan is OP if you let them build enough warriors. You will need some time to figure it out mainly, is why i would not recommend lynx for <200 hours multiplayer experience in NG.I always go for Domination victory, and In my first several games I lost each time, but once I played the clan of the Ox it thought me how to play better, that I needed to upgrade buildings and tools and not only expand territory. So you can save the lynx from usual problems with food, wood, happiness, and so on, The lynx clan is a bit nice, but to be save with your money, get the dragon clan., because the lynx requires advanced knowledge about the game, why do the other clans not have ANY of this? With a brewerey or 2, and 2 but better 3 woodcutters in 1. ![]() JUST what you need to enhance the CITIZEN growth meaning the faster economy, you have MORE res to spend in year 1-2 than other clans. DRAGON CLAN, its not much in a 1v1 though, for 2-3 slaves in the end of the game, but its nice to have few myrkalfs on the enemy ground. > oh here is the DRAGON altair, to improve your production with those almost dead men. Only mechanic that is missing, that badly wounded people (70-90% dead) count to incapicipated people like in ACT OF WAR, like the tanks there, not able to fight anymore, but valuable to repair, and valuable to get prisoners. Its NOT getting killed by sickness, nor their productivity, which NO RTS game has out there. Spend 20 GOLD and kill one wolf and get back and the 20 gold is lost and the 50 wood camp cost maintainance but you have no use all the 1. Peasants can go out and KILL the one wolf, so annoying to build a MILITARY camp from the FIRST 50/200 wood u have With 99% of all clans I play the dragon clan,īecause its NOT having the games usual restrictions: Another clan with some interesting nuances to navigate, but once you get the hang of them can be devastating for other players. (Also a very good supporting clan in my experience)Īnd Dragon is one of the hard hitters of the game at the moment, with historically one of the higher win percentages due to their offensive nature and the playstyle of the clan. A fiddly clan, but once you get the hang of them and how they are managed, can be very hard to deal with for opposition players. ![]() They have no access to longship docks but they have The Wyrd which can be spent to use special abilities. Kraken is one of the tougher clans to get the hang of. Horses warchiefs are versatile in role, able to fight, mine and smith, while Signy, of the Clan of the Snake develops over the course of a game and is able to steal knowledge from other clans, but they cannot achieve a fame victory. Horse and snake are probably the most "newcomer friendly" and closer to the base clans in style and balance. (Torfin, Ox's warchief in particular is one of the strongest units in the game when at full strength) Ox is a slow starter, but incredibly fun and formidable in the late game. Lynx is probably the most popular at the moment due to it's recent release, but is very dependent on early rushing and intricate management of your economy. ![]() Any ideas? Is the new Lynx clan any good? Originally posted by SHiiO-:Hello there, I was looking into which one should I go for? I mean I mostly play the Bear Clan or the Goat Clan and from the DLC's The Ox clan and the Horse Clan looks pretty balanced without being too offensive like the wolf clan or too passive.
